Mini Goldendoodle Puppies for Sale in Texas

The Mini Goldendoodle is what happens when you cross a Golden Retriever with a Miniature Poodle: the same sunny, biddable temperament in a 15–35 lb package that fits a smaller home, a smaller car and a smaller lap. They are our most-requested size, and for good reason.

About the Mini Goldendoodle

Why the mini size is so popular

A Mini Goldendoodle gives you the temperament people fall in love with — affectionate, funny, endlessly people-oriented — without the floor space, food bill or physical strength of a 70 lb dog. They are easy to travel with, easy for a smaller adult or an older owner to handle on a leash, and they generally live longer than their standard-sized cousins.

They are not, however, a low-energy dog. A mini still wants a good walk and a proper play session every day. Small does not mean sedentary.

Living space and apartments

Mini Goldendoodles do well in apartments and townhouses as long as they get out. What actually matters to a dog this size is not square footage but rhythm: a morning walk, some midday attention, a real play or training session in the evening. Meet those and a mini will happily nap the rest of the day at your feet.

One thing worth knowing before you sign a lease: many buildings cap dogs at 25 or 30 lbs. Because minis span 15–35 lbs, ask us for the expected adult range on your specific litter so you are not guessing.

Grooming a mini coat

Smaller dog, same coat commitment. Brush 2–3 times a week down to the skin — not just over the top, which leaves mats forming underneath — and book a professional groom every 6–8 weeks. Start handling paws, ears and muzzle in week one so grooming is boring rather than traumatic later.

All puppy FAQs

Most Mini Goldendoodles finish between 15 and 35 lbs and stand 13–20 inches at the shoulder. The Poodle parent drives adult size, so we can give you an expected weight range for each individual litter before you reserve.

Expect roughly $2,000–$3,000 from a breeder who health tests their parent dogs. Our current pricing is shown on each available puppy, with a $200 deposit to reserve.

Yes, provided they get daily exercise and company. They are quiet enough for shared walls and small enough for most pet policies, but they are a people-oriented breed and do poorly if left alone all day.

Not typically. They will announce a knock at the door, but they are not a yappy breed. Nuisance barking in a doodle is nearly always boredom or separation anxiety rather than temperament.

Usually 12–16 years — smaller doodles tend to outlive standard sizes by a couple of years.
