Millie Bush Bark Park in George Bush Park is the big one — multiple ponds and separate areas by size. Buffalo Bayou Park has the Johnny Steele Dog Park right on the water, and Memorial Park's trail network is the everyday option. Houston humidity is hard on a doodle coat, so plan on shorter cuts and diligent drying after any swim.
Wherever you walk your puppy, wait until roughly two weeks after their final vaccination before visiting dog parks or anywhere unknown dogs toilet. Until then, carrying your puppy somewhere busy is a superb way to socialise them safely — see our vaccination schedule guide for the timeline.
